Years ago, I challenged myself to run a 10K.
I was never much of a runner before, so I trained for that race like it was my job. I started running every single day.
Long runs. Tempo runs. Sprints. Hills. You name it.
I fine-tuned my diet and started getting 8 hours of sleep every night. I yearned for the day that race would come.
Well, that’s me finishing my first 10K. And if you look closely, I’m just behind the guy who did it in sandals.
